Industrial Designer

Industrial Designer opportunity to join one of the world’s leading Telecom Services and Solution Providers on a contract basis. They are committed to investing in R&D to create competitive products and solutions. Based in one of their 20 Global Research and Development Centres you will join a highly creative international team to create the next generation of communication products (Modems & Routers) for business to business solutions that will be used by millions of people.

Responsibilities:
* You will be involved in guiding product development from initial research and concept through to a successful products
* Working alongside teams of designers, engineers and product managers communicating ideas and concepts.
* Be responsible for ideation as well as accurate implementation of ideas
* Maintaining a continued understanding of the competition, industry, standards and relevant trends

Requirements:
* 5 - 10 years experience of industrial design and product development.
* Proven and substantial experience of working with design solutions of routers and modems (or similar products) for a indoor office application.
* A strong understanding of global trends, technology and fashion
* Be able to work with engineers and other specialists to develop new solutions in combination with new manufacturing processes.
* Industrial Designers will need to be self driven and know how to organize work and lead design effort according to tight schedules.
* Able to travel internationally when required.
* Proficient using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and at least one parametric 3D software like Solid Works or Pro Engineer

This will be an initial 3 to 6 month contract based full time in Stockholm. Candidates will need to be entitled to work & freely travel in Europe to be considered for this role.
