Senior UI Designer

The Senior UI Designer will be responsible for leading and implementing all user interface design needs for Huawei IT Innovation Center. Your primary work will be focused on UI design for market-driven new innovative and exciting products and services. You will work closely with the marketing team and development team as projects are taken to commercialization.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Collaborating with product owners, developers and others to define product vision, direction and detail
* Conceiving, developing and prototyping new user interfaces
* Sketching, conceptualizing and wire-framing user experiences
* Producing sitemaps and user flows
* Creating clickable prototypes
* Working with engineering and marketing to finalize designs, documenting solutions and monitoring their implementation
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience carrying design concepts forward from wireframes to prototypes, keeping in mind how the end product will be built
* 5+ years applied experience in user interface design
* Solid academic background in HCI or related field
* Demonstrable understanding of visual and user interface design disciplines and principles
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools
* Critical eye for attention to detail and pixel perfection
* Capable of rendering high fidelity layouts and icons
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Excellent collaboration skills
* Ability to deliver high quality work on tight schedules
* Technology agnostic and capable of learning new toolsets and trends as needed
